Established in 1959, Coastal Burglar Alarm is Charleston's oldest locally owned and operated security systems company. For over 40 years, we have installed each and every system as if it were our very own, and we have aspired to provide the most personalized service possible. In fact, Coastal Burglar Alarm continues to service customers that have been with the company since its inception.

Coastal Burglar Alarm sincerely cares about its customers. We have our own alarm monitoring facility, or Central Station as it is referred to in the security industry, strategically located in Charleston. By operating our own Central Station, we are able to provide a more personalized service to our customers. This affords us the ability to treat each client as a real person with individualized, specific needs. We personally monitor our customers security systems for every "opening" and "closing" in addition to emergency signals. This enables us to provide our customers with data such as the time their alarm is set, the identity of the individual who sets the alarm, and the occurrence of illegal entries after normal hours of business operation. Moreover Coastal Burglar Alarm further accommodates its customers by immediately contacting them in the event their operating premises have been closed without the security system being activated.
