SECURITY SYSTEMS PROTECT A BOATER'S HOME AWAY FROM HOME
 |
During the long days of summer, a boat can become a home away from home for many. To keep the days filled with fun, a
security system is a wise investment. MarineGuard Network
offers boat security systems that allow a boater to go wherever he wants and still feel comfortable knowing his pride and joy is protected.
If a vandal or intruder attempts to board the boat, the alarm activates and notifies people nearby. It can also send a signal
to the owner or MarineGuard's central station.
MarineGuard Network utilizes Cellemetry's two-way cellular network to transmit trouble signals to a designated cell phone or pager wherever cellular service is available. This includes about 95% of North
America.

When ashore on a sightseeing adventure, boaters can have peace of mind knowing that their personal belongings and the boat's valuable electronics are secure. While on the boat, passengers can rest at ease when taking a mid-afternoon nap or after turning in for the evening.
If an intruder climbs onboard, a chime sounds to wake the boater.
Components of the security systems vary according to the owner's preferences and the
boat's
size. MarineGuard's deck sensors react to flexing of a boat's deck.
Large and small
hatch contacts trip the alarm when a hatch is opened, while
point-to-point contacts for
sliding doors protect personal belongings inside the boat. Photoelectric
sensors activate
the alarm when their infrared beams are interrupted.
MarineGuard Network offers three comprehensive security systems to fit
differing needs and budgets. They are the MarineGuard 40, MarineGuard
44, and MarineGuard 48. The packages include the system, radio, and
various sensors. |
